We are indebted to many associates in whose company mere shows have become extravaganzas. The Trafalgar Gun Company in particular has enabled us to participate in the creation of many spectacular productions across the country. In association with Window through time and the Midland Symphony Orchestra we have re-created many of Tchaikovsky's musical battle scenes. With Powder pastimes we have instructed and entertained many in the art of defence with a brown bess or mortar against advancing French troops. The Napoleonic society have also provided us with opportunities to demonstrate the use of black powder artillery in the late eighteenth century. With the artillery division of the Sealed Knot we have given demonstrations without rival in the history of artillery through the ages. |
