Our combined artillery firepower can prove to be quite awesome. On one occasion, when we accompanied the Midland Symphony Orchestra, we counted over 105 firing pieces. Of course we were be re-loading during the musical piece so there might have been as many as 120 gun shots to be heard. With the largest cannon being a 32 pounder (with which incidentally we were creating some impressive smoke rings) the result as you can imagine, was a resounding success and well appreciated by the audience.
We are able to sport a small battery of cannon, with mortar fire with a backup of Musket and flintlock pistol as well as special effects and pyrotechnics for whatever the occasion demands.
For a fee... we could arrange a location..... Most of the cannon are reproductions of artillery pieces used in North America against native rebel forces who for some inexplicable reason wanted to become independent of Great Britain. Perhaps taxes had something to do with it. Unfortunately our forces often left in a hurry and were unable to bring back the field and seige guns which is why there are relatively few examples here in England.
Here's a handsome bloke now, wonder who he is? |
